50 Dragons Online (Aristocrat)

Aristocrat have been hard at it again. Back in 2011 I wrote an article for Online Casinos & Slot Machines profiling the imminent release of 30 of their top land-based slots online and since then, they have released those and more: games like Sun & Moon, Big Red, More Chilli and the popular 50 Dragons are all available to play online (check out the full list of Aristocrat slots now available) .

The 50 Dragons slot machine is basically identical in all but looks to 50 Lions and I am sure many of you will know it well from land-based casinos although the 50 Dragons (+ 100 payline variant, 100 Dragons) are more popular in the East. On a trip to the Venetian in Macau in 2008 I’d say 50 Dragons was the most prevalent game aside from Baccarat! The Slotjunkies video above shows how the online version looks and shows the free spin feature in action at MoneyGaming. It is pretty much the same as the land version all said and done. Aristocrat have also released the 5 Dragons game but be aware that apart from the Dragon theme, it is nothing like (and IMO nowhere near as fun) as 50 Dragons. Both 50 Lions and 50 Dragons, and more recently slot machines like Sun & Moon and their popular Buffalo game along with several other Aristocrat games that have come online, are exclusive (as I write) to a handful of online casinos that run through the GameAccount Network.

This means unfortunately, that U.S and Aussie players cannot play the Aristocrat slots online yet (the law’s an ass!) but I suspect that will change in light of Aristocrat’s recent announcement that they have teamed up with Maryland Live to offer their games in freeplay mode. Meanwhile, other players can play 50 Dragons, 50 Lions, More Chilli and 5 Dragons at MoneyGaming which is a decent casino and one I play myself. It’s a bit slower to pay out than I’d like (72hrs) but it’s safe and they have lots of games from Aristocrat and IGT you will recognize.

A final note on Aristocrat’s Wonder 4 slot games – these are proving pretty popular but as I write, the 50 Lions / 50 Dragons games are not part of this setup which is a shame.
